During that course the participants will work on the marketing aspect of of their apps. The course is intended for indie developers who didn't yet have the time to master the secrets of the App Store. The course will give them a few simple techniques, walk them by hand, and answer their questions.
The workshop will focus on:

* Making sure that their sales copy and other marketing materials are right
* Learning how to use the right tracking and sales tools for the job
"There is a plenty of good apps in the store which just don't sell because of a poor marketing. Sometimes it takes just a few tweaks with keywords, description copy or screenshots to go from being broke to being break even" - says Tomasz Kolinko, founder of AppCod.es. "We want to teach the developers how to use the right marketing tools, especially our DIY App Store Optimization toolkit".
The course is free, no strings attached. Will happen 12th March 2012, 11a.m. PST, online, with an opportunity for Q&A. The course content will also be republished at a later date.
AppCod.es itself is an online app marketing toolbox. It helps users to measure their position in app store for given keywords, track competitors, and distribute free promo codes. The regular price for the service is $9.95/month, but developers who complete the course will get a free one-month access.
Sending A Press Release Easy & Intuitive
The process to submit a release was fairly easy. Often times, submitting releases to PR agencies can get cumbersome since each company has a particular process in which their submission process works, however, MobilePRWire made sending a press release intuitive, easy and within minutes.
