[MobilePRwire.com] Seattle, WA - Instatim is a more personal social network that helps people stay in touch with their close friends, family and co-workers.
Instatim LLC, a mobile application developer, today released Instatim, a private social networking mobile app. Instatim lets users share their statuses and availability, and quickly find out what their friends and family are doing, where they are, and if they’re free or busy.
Private and secure by design, Instatim does not retain or store users’ past statuses or locations. Status updates and locations are only shared with the user’s contacts, and this information is protected by industry standard encryption.
Derived from the Latin word “statim,” which means on the spot and immediate, Instatim provides instant communication. Immediately after a user posts a status about what she’s doing, her friends receive a push notification with her status, and the status also appears in their Instatim feeds.
When posting a status, users can choose to include their location, as well as select an availability indicator to signify if they’re free, busy or in between. Statuses are accompanied with an expiration time, denoting how long the user will be engaged in the activity. Once the status reaches its expiration, the status disappears from the feed. The expiration functionality keeps statuses relevant and feeds easy to read.
Users can personalize their network by sorting contacts into different groups (high school friends, family, co-workers, etc.). This lets users communicate unique statuses with specific groups.
Instatim is available for free in the iTunes App Store, and it is optimized for the iPhone and iPod Touch.
Sending A Press Release Easy & Intuitive
The process to submit a release was fairly easy. Often times, submitting releases to PR agencies can get cumbersome since each company has a particular process in which their submission process works, however, MobilePRWire made sending a press release intuitive, easy and within minutes.
