Joustin' Beaver Files Lawsuit Against Justin Bieber
FL,  February 28th 2012, in  Android Apps,   All App News,

[] Jacksonville, FL -  In a preemptive move, attorneys for mobile app developer RC3, Inc., makers of the iPhone/iPad/Android app "Joustin' Beaver" filed a lawsuit against Justin Bieber. Justin Bieber's lawyers originally asked that the game be removed from iTunes and the Android Market and that RC3, Inc. provide them with a complete record of accounting. Despite those demands, Joustin' Beaver continues to be available for the iPhone, iPad, and Android.

In response to a barrage of threats, including a Cease and Desist Letter, attorneys for RC3, Inc., creators of "Joustin' Beaver", filed a Declaratory Action in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida on February 24, 2012.

A representative from RC3, Inc. released the following statement: "After receipt of Justin Bieber's "Cease and Desist Letter" and subsequent conversations with Bieber's lawyers it became apparent that litigation was inevitable. In an effort to preemptively protect our company and our product we had no choice but to ask the court to intervene."

RC3, Inc. maintains that the game is a parody and is protected under the First Amendment of the Constitution.

Sending A Press Release Easy & Intuitive
The process to submit a release was fairly easy. Often times, submitting releases to PR agencies can get cumbersome since each company has a particular process in which their submission process works, however, MobilePRWire made sending a press release intuitive, easy and within minutes.
