[MobilePRwire.com] Atlanta, GA/USA - Qoppa Software's new release of Android PDF app boosts performance and responsiveness with tile rendering strategy
Software, a leading producer of PDF solutions, announces significant performance improvements to their Android PDF rendering technology in release 2.3 of Qoppa’s Android PDF products.
A new tile-based rendering approach was implemented which splits each page of a PDF document into multiple tiles that can be rendered and cached independently. This new strategy enables implementing out of thread rendering and improving image caching and memory usage.
Qoppa’s users will see great improvements in speed and GUI responsiveness when loading and navigating through PDF documents. This will especially be true when viewing or working with large PDF documents or documents containing intensive images and graphics.
“The new release brings our PDF renderer on Android to a whole new level, delivering one of the best user experiences available on the market when it comes to viewing and scrolling through PDF documents.” says Qoppa’s President Gerald Holmann.
Qoppa Software also makes its Android PDF technology available in qPDF Toolkit for Android developers to integrate PDF features into their own apps.
Qoppa’s Android product work on all Android phones and tablets 2.1 and higher including: Asus Transformer Prime, Acer Picasso, Samsung Galaxy Tab, Samsung Galaxy Note, Motorola XOOM, Toshiba, Lenovo Thinkpad, Kindle Fire, Nook, and devices with custom ROMs. qPDF Notes is also available on Blackberry Playbook 2.
Qoppa Software is a registered trademark of Qoppa Software in the United States and/or other countries.
Sending A Press Release Easy & Intuitive
The process to submit a release was fairly easy. Often times, submitting releases to PR agencies can get cumbersome since each company has a particular process in which their submission process works, however, MobilePRWire made sending a press release intuitive, easy and within minutes.
