New CallSnap App Launches: Respond to Callers with a Photo
IL,  June 3rd 2013, in  Android Apps,

[MobilePRwire.com] Chicago, IL -  CallSnap is the new free Android App that proves “a picture’s worth a thousand words” by responding instantly to an incoming call with a photo. CallSnap uniquely blends voice technology with a photo to make consumers’ communication more informational and alive for nearly every situation. The Android app is available to download for free in the Google Play store.

TIP Solutions (www.tipsolutions.com), a Chicago-based software company building a patented set of software and firmware technologies around incoming call management, has officially launched CallSnap. CallSnap is a free patent-pending downloadable app that provides call recipients the chance to prove that “a picture’s worth a thousand words” by responding instantly to an incoming call with a photo. The Android app is available to download for free in the Google Play store.

By showing people what they’re doing, CallSnap provides mobile call recipients a fun, new, and innovative way to communicate by sharing an instant photo with a friend. Here’s how it works:

1 In response to an incoming call, the recipient is provided an option to slide an icon to CallSnap.
2 CallSnap declines the incoming call and the call recipient is given the opportunity to take a picture which is sent to the caller with one of multiple sayings overlaid as a frame such as, “I’m busy, here’s what I’m doing.”
3 When the recipient uses CallSnap, the caller instantly receives a text message announcing ‘Busy right now…CallSnap photo on the way!’ Importantly, the caller immediately learns that the recipient has seen their call but can’t talk at the moment.
4 Shortly after placing the call, the caller receives the photo visually explaining why the call recipient can’t answer.

“TIP Solutions’ mission is to change the way the world answers a phone call,” said President Michael Unetich. “With CallSnap, we’ve blended voice technology with a photo to make consumers’ communication more informational and alive for nearly every situation. The use cases are limitless.”

Although texting is often considered the preferred form of communication among the younger generation, TIP expects the CallSnap app will appeal to users because of the popularity of photosharing and interactive apps.

Says Unetich, “TIP stands for ‘Technology In Progress’ because our creative team is going full steam ahead pushing the envelope with further tools and innovation to improve people’s communication.”
