Reinforcements Arrive at Kwalee
Warwickshire, England,  May 31st 2012, in  All App News,

[] Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, England -  After the global release of Gobang Social, smartphone game developers Kwalee engaged in a complete company reorganisation, doubling their development squad size, as well as forming significant new departments within their office.

The Leamington Spa based company has hired not one, not two, but five incredibly talented individuals to join them in their path to create innovative and ground breaking mobile games ready to blow up the App Store.

As announced on their website last week, James Horn has arrived to lead the art department to create visually stunning games. His experience within a team designing DJ Hero I and II and working on major Codemasters games, including Colin McRae: Dirt and TOCA: Race Driver 3, will help create mobile games that draw players into an enjoyable and unique gaming experience.

Stepping in as Interactive Designer is the hugely talented Adam Philbin with a degree in Animation and invaluable experience in the advertising and gaming industries since 2001. Adam has created number one iPhone games at Neon Play, with downloads of millions, including “Traffic Panic 3D” which entered the Top 10 in global app stores.

David Darling, Kwalee CEO and Codemasters co-founder is excited to have Adam on board:

“Hiring Adam enables us to run two separate development teams, leading them efficiently and professionally to produce numerous fantastic games at once.”

Senior Programmer Pedro Caria ‘parachuted’ in from Portugal to join the Kwalee development team. He has experience producing software ranging from industrial machines to websites, as well independently coded and created his own mobile game “Nut Factory”.

Also joining the Kwalee team are Programmers Evan Harris and Pete Hancox.

Pete arrived at Kwalee with a degree in Computer Science specialising in real-time 3D applications, and experience at console game developer, Eurocom.

Evan previously worked making software used for computers in police cars and PDAs carried by officers. Starting at Kwalee has allowed Evan to apply his programming talents into his passion of games.

Gobang Social recently went to number one in Top Grossing, Board Games and Strategy charts in the Tanzanian Apple App Store. With their latest reinforcements now in the platoon, Kwalee are now producing several top secret projects for the mobile gaming market.

You can see the latest Kwalee comrades ready to fight their way through this competitive industry in the Flickr paint-balling album. You can witness them responding to their call of duty.

David is thrilled over the company’s latest troop:

“At Kwalee we want to create really playable and innovative mobile games. Our up-and-coming games are original, and our new team will help inspire imagery and vibrant ideas that will make Kwalee stand out above the rest.”

The collective experience of all five new recruits, both in and out of the games industry, allows the Kwalee troops to get their game faces on and work on sophisticated and innovative games, giving consumer what they want.

Sending A Press Release Easy & Intuitive
The process to submit a release was fairly easy. Often times, submitting releases to PR agencies can get cumbersome since each company has a particular process in which their submission process works, however, MobilePRWire made sending a press release intuitive, easy and within minutes.
