Dragon Nest Studio is pleased to announce an Android version of Ultimate Stick Fight, action-filled, beat-em-up scroller that is now available for download on the Google Play. Featuring dramatic 2.5D graphics plus animation of real martial arts moves, city streets are realistic with layers of depth. Players can upgrade Stats and Skills, execute deadly ground and air combo attacks, and create new combos. With parallax scrolling across 8 cityscapes, 2 playable characters, 40 levels of play, 3 difficulty modes, and 7 choices of BGM, Ultimate Stick Fight is ideal for the beat-em-up player seeking advanced controls, techniques, and visuals.

Feature Highlights:
— Play as Ryan or Slash, one uses a sword and the other his bare sticks
— Each player must master his own 20 fight moves and styles
— Learn insane combos that punch, kick, juggle, slide, spin, and more
— String together built-in combos to create incredible attack combinations
— Pick up and throw objects like boxes, dumpsters and phone booths!
— Overcome challenging bosses in 40 stages and 8 unique environments
— 3 levels of difficulty to prove you've got the biggest stick in town
— Earn coins and stars as you defeat your enemies
— Purchase new combos or upgrade existing skills to unlock new moves
— Upgrade your skills for new animations and more effective combos

Left-thumb controls include left and right pointing arrows, which determine the direction the player is facing and the direction of movement. Right-thumb controls include: hold (lift object), punch, kick, and jump. During a fight, players may be able to lift a nearby object (e.g., a dumpster or telephone booth) above their heads, releasing it to kill multiple enemies. Players can learn and upgrade combos, which are executed using one of six different control button sequences (e.g., P-P-P-P or P-K-P-K).

Combos are made up of the same individual moves as the control buttons sequence, but mix in additional moves to enhance the effectiveness of the attack (e.g., spins or feints). Each combo has several levels and cost in coins and stars. Each combo has its own characteristics, having different ratings for damage, delay, attack point, and range. Moves and combos are executed at a blinding pace, faster than real life, body movement is highly accurate and detailed, and action is augmented with realistic motion-blur.

The game’s smooth animation, effortlessly mixing cartoon-like stick figures with detailed and interactive backgrounds, and many stages of play have won it rave reviews since its original release on the Apple App Store in October 2012. The ability to upgrade weapons, combos, and skills is also much appreciated by fans.

“We worked hard on the game mechanics to make it fun to play over and over, while also a challenge to master,” explains Chambers. “As you play you earn coins that you can exchange for new combos and upgrades to your existing combos.”

The game suits an audience of 9+ with three levels of difficulty from Easy to Hard, making it ideal for causal play as well as a challenge for hardcore gamers.

Pricing and Availability:
Ultimate Stick Fight is available now worldwide for $0.99 (or equivalent amount in other currencies) through the Google Play in the Games category.
